In Corona, Queens, outside of the new Citifield , is an area known as the Iron Triangle(Willets Point). It is a 61-acre area full of junkyards and auto repair shops.
Men and women are making a living here to save money and send their children to school; some are even sending money back home to help their families have a better life. This story is about them and their fight to keep their small businesses from the city's economic development plans and eminent domain.
Lina Tapia is one of a hand full of women who own there on shops in Willets Point.
